Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

We started the year with a golf trip to Carmel and Pebble Beach, which was a relaxing way to kick off the season. In the summer, Jo and I spent six weeks in Europe. We celebrated our 45th anniversary with Charmaine, Emma, and the Higham family in Brittany, France, before traveling through Bordeaux, Nice, and Monaco. We also spent time in the UK, visiting Charmaine and Emma’s new house in London and stopping in Manchester, where Jo attended college 50 years ago.

Amidst these celebrations, Harris spent much of the year in Hong Kong. Having visited three times for nearly four months in total, he was able to cherish invaluable quality time with his mother.

Shortly after we returned from a Thanksgiving trip to Hong Kong, Harris’s mother passed away peacefully at the age of 100. She was surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren, including Harris’s eldest brother from Australia and his sisters. While we grieve her passing, we find great comfort in the long, full life she lived and the fact that we could be with her so often this final year.

Merry & Bright 

2025 has been a year of growth, travel, and a whole lot of court play!  The biggest highlight was watching our boys shine. Kyle graduated middle school with Honor Roll and hit the ground running in High School on the Advanced Math/Tech/Science pathway. He started a student Pickleball club as President and, after months of drilling in Junior Team Tennis, achieved his goal of making the Varsity Tennis team! We are so very proud of him! 

Kaleb hit double digits this year (Happy 10th!) and is following in his brother’s footsteps, joining his first pickleball league and also playing tennis,  winning medals in two different city tennis tournaments. We are so happy with his growth! 

Off the court, the adults had a big year too. We are now a “Marketing Power Couple”—James moved from Engineering to become a Group Product Manager, and Czarin was promoted to Assistant Marketing Director at Kidokinetics before hitting my one year anniversary. We celebrated all this hard work with an unforgettable family trip to the Big Island, Hawaii with James’ parents.

We are cherishing these busy, active days. Wishing you love, laughter, and a happy New Year!

There were a lot of milestones this year in 2025!

We kicked off the year with my big 4-0 birthday. Emma took me down to Sussex where we did a full day course on deer butchery! From skinning to breaking down the different parts of the deer, we learned so much but also learned how to cook and prepare the venison for some delicious dishes. It was such a unique experience!

I’ve been buried in the world of dinosaurs this whole year, and July saw the release of my recent project Jurassic World Rebirth. My team got to go to New York City to see the premiere of the film, the city was completely decked out with dinosaurs everywhere! It’s always exciting getting to see the final images up on the big screen.

This summer saw my parents come out to the UK and France. We took them over to Brittany for the first time where we joined the Highams for a week of sun, beach, and lots of seafood. We then drove from North France all the way down to South France and enjoyed a week staying in Monacco but also driving around to all the other towns such as Nice and Menton. We had a go at the Monte Carlo casino, but the moment I won 20 euros, I cashed out immediately and decided to use that to buy gelato for everyone in Italy the next day.

After a summer of fun, Emma and I finally exchanged on a new house in Victoria Park! We’ve been spending most of this fall renovating and making the house our own. But finally we broke it in with a big Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving dinner with our friends and family.

We’re looking forward to spend Christmas with the Higham’s and will be flying over to California for the New Year’s to spend with the Chan’s. We wish you and your family a happy new year!
